The LCSU 4 is our most advanced compact suction unit. Weighing only 1.5 kg and having a flow rate of 30 liters/minute, the LCSU 4 is the perfect tool for first responders and medical personnel. The disposable canister that clicks in place removes the hassle of external tubing that could slow down the rescue process. With vacuum ranging from 50-550 mmHg (66-733 bar), this portable suction unit can be used on all patients, from newborns to adults. With the pediatric range indicator and LED display, the LCSU 4 makes suctioning in the most difficult situations, easier.  This compact suction unit has a battery life of up to 45 minutes continuous use on free flow suction, allowing healthcare providers to tackle the toughest challenges.

• Meets RTCA/DO-160G Section 21 Catergory M (for battery operation only; commercial aircraft, airborne equipment) standard.
• All LCSU 4 units with RTCA approval are certified for use in aircraft. 

Why an RTCA version?

• The RTCA designation allows the LCSU 4 units to be battery operated in a commercial aircraft. 
• The LCSU 4 should not interfere with the aircraft’s electronics or instrumentation while being operated.

• The appearance of both LCSU 4 units is essentially the same. However, the internal lining of the units is distinctly different. The new RTCA cases have been coated internally with a gold-coloured coating.
• This coating helps minimize “electronic noise” emissions per the RTCA/DO-160G - Section 21, Environmental Conditions and Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment – Emission of Radio Frequency standard.
