Our grant is applicable on Mindray Beneheart C1A Save A Life AED Bundles unless otherwise negotiated. Applicants must be a community group, community sports club, non for profit, or charity.

Promoting the accessibility of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in community centres, clubs, and organisations is crucial for emergency preparedness. However, the high cost of acquiring a defibrillator often poses a barrier, leaving individuals in these settings vulnerable during emergencies.

About Cardiac Arrest

The Heart Foundation has recorded alarming statistics that 375,000 Australians experience a heart attack each year. 1 in 20 of these ends in death, equating to one person dying of a heart attack every 74 minutes, or on average 19 people every day. Of these that end up in cardiac arrest, every minute that passes the chance of survival decreases 10 per cent.
